Found in The Collingwood Enterprise Bulletin of Jan. 24, 1935: (from Collingwood Public Library) "An old resident of the town, Charles Johnston died in the G and M Hospital on Tuesday, January 15th following a short illness from pneumonia. A stone mason by trade, the deceased was well and favorably known by the townspeople. He is survived by his wife and grown-up family. The funeral service was held at the family residence, Moberly Street, on Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Bowell."
